  • José Reina Paez

    José Reina Paez

Came racing off his line to make a vital intervention with his feet in the first half but could do nothing to stop the goal moments before the interval.

  • Raúl Albiol Tortajada
    17
    4
    3.00

    Raúl Albiol Tortajada

Received another chance alongside club colleague Sergio Ramos and did little wrong against a discreet Korean attack. If Pique and Ramos cannot work things out, he may just get more chances at the Euros.

  • Arbeloa
    17
    9
    3.00

    Arbeloa

Looking like he will be the first-choice right back in Poland and Ukraine as Ramos moves across to central defense. Did well here and was a decent outlet going forward.

  • Sergio Ramos
    21
    10
    3.00

    Sergio Ramos

Looked composed and brought the ball out of defense with quality. Little to do as he looked comfortable at the back. Overran the ball and committed one foul in the first half.

  • Monreal
    19
    3
    3.00

    Monreal

Should have shot instead of squaring for the offside Mata late in the first half when Spain had the ball in the net. Not going to Euro 2012 but impressed going forward and was solid enough at the back.

  • Santi Cazorla
    38
    10
    3.50

Santi Cazorla Top of the Match

An impressive performance from the Malaga man, who never seems to disappoint for Spain. Saw a fierce low drive saved in the first half but threaded a fantastic free kick through the wall to make it 3-1 and showed a neat range of passing.

  • David Silva
    34
    3
    3.00

    David Silva

Lively and full of running as he linked up brilliantly with Monreal, Mata and Torres in the first half. Final ball could have been better but his pass to Monreal should have led to a goal instead of Mata's offside effort.

  • Xabi Alonso
    34
    6
    3.50

    Xabi Alonso

Came close in the first half as he tested the Korean keeper with a low effort from the edge of the box. Showed some silky passing as usual and added the second from the penalty spot. Always comfortable.

  • Beñat
    22
    2
    3.00

    Beñat

Impressed against Serbia and looked good again in this one. Can consider himself unlucky not to be traveling to the Euros but is bound to receive more call-ups on this evidence.

  • Fernando Torres
    112
    8
    3.50

    Fernando Torres

Enjoyed a fine end to the campaign with Chelsea and looks much more confident than he did a few months ago. Glanced a header in to open the scoring and took up good positions all night. Now Spain's fourth-highest scorer with 29 goals for his country.

  • Juan Mata
    33
    13
    3.00

    Juan Mata

Formed a fine association with club colleague Torres, but was naive as he drifted yards offside and netted from Monreal's ball across the box in the first half.

Substitutions

  • Iker Casillas
    28
    11
    2.50

    Iker Casillas

Came on for the last 10 minutes and received a rousing reception.

  • Álvaro Domínguez
    14
    6
    2.50

    Álvaro Domínguez

Replaced Ramos with 33 minutes remaining as Del Bosque rang the changes. Little to do.

  • Soriano
    12
    6
    2.50

    Soriano

A second-half substitute for Xabi Alonso, he looked composed on the ball and kept it tidy in midfield.

  • Roberto Soldado
    21
    12
    3.00

    Roberto Soldado

Given a chance to impress as a second-half substitute, even though he was left out of the Euro 2012 squad. Set up Negredo's goal with an inch-perfect pass late on but didn't have any good chances himself.

  • Negredo
    18
    8
    3.00

    Negredo

Came on after 57 minutes. Participative. Had an angled drive saved by the goalkeeper with just under 20 minutes left, came close with another effort and then slid a lovely shot under the goalkeeper's legs to make it 4-1 late on.

  • Adrián
    16
    6
    2.50

    Adrián

Brought on early in the second period and showed some neat touches on the flank, but failed to make a real impact.

  • Jin-Hyeon Kim
    4
    3
    2.50

    Jin-Hyeon Kim

Could do little about the first three goals, but dived the wrong way for the penalty. Made some great saves to deny Xabi Alonso, Cazorla and Negredo. Let the latter's effort through his legs late on, however.

  • Hyo-Jin Choi
    2
    5
    2.50

    Hyo-Jin Choi

Pushed back deep and struggled against the pace of Spain's forwards, as well as the overlapping Monreal.

  • Jung-Soo Lee
    3
    4
    2.50

    Jung-Soo Lee

Decent positioning in defense but was simply overrun at times and allowed Torres to escape and head La Roja into the lead in the first half.

  • Joo-Ho Park
    3
    4
    2.50

    Joo-Ho Park

Worked hard but was given plenty of problems on the flank by Mata and Silva. Unable to get forward as he would have liked.

  • Yong-Hyung Cho
    2
    7
    2.50

Yong-Hyung Cho Flop of the Match

Gave away the penalty with a scandalous handball in the second half, marring what had been a disciplined defensive display before that.

  • Koo Ja-Cheol
    3
    4
    3.00

    Koo Ja-Cheol

Worked incredibly hard in central midfield to provide a shield for his defenders but that was ultimately insufficient and he tired before being replaced.

  • Do-Heon Kim
    4
    4
    3.00

    Do-Heon Kim

Produced a stunning strike to level proceedings just before the interval but was otherwise reduced to a mainly defensive role.

  • Tae-Hee Nam
    3
    4
    3.00

    Tae-Hee Nam

Made some decent runs on the wing but did not see as much of the ball as he would have liked and was unable to really hurt Spain.

  • Dong-Won Ji
    2
    4
    2.50

    Dong-Won Ji

Given a tough task up front but was a handful at times with his movement. Lacked a physical presence to really cause too many problems but showed a dangerous turn of speed on occasions.

  • Heung-Min Son
    4
    4
    3.00

    Heung-Min Son

Held the ball up well but lacked support and inevitably tired. Wasn't given enough help in there and did not receive enough service. Dropped deep to help out his defense.

  • Ki-Hun Yeom
    3
    4
    3.00

    Ki-Hun Yeom

Showed some moments of inspiration on the flanks but was never able to really link up with his forwards and his final ball lacked quality.

Substitutions

  • Jung-Woo Kim
    3
    3
    2.50

    Jung-Woo Kim

Made a very poor tackle on Silva. Otherwise there was little to remember about his cameo.

  • Jae-Sung Kim
    3
    4

    Jae-Sung Kim

Made little impact after coming on in the second half.

  • Bo-Kyung Kim

  • Dong-Gook Lee
    5

    Dong-Gook Lee

Had a decent effort saved late in the game but failed to make a real impression. Should have been on earlier.
