That was the last action of the match, as it ends in a 0-0 score. The game was pretty dire until the 70th minute mark, when both sides decided to attack a bit more. The quality of play was still well below par even when the game opened up.
Di Vaio gets a volley at the top of the area, but his bouncing shot goes harmlessly high.
Corner for Montreal. A short on is taken, and Di Vaio works it into the area, but his shot leave much to be desired.
We're into three minutes added on. Still no score.
Substitution Jeb Brovsky Dennis Iapichino
Yellow Card Sanna Nyassi
TFC with a series of one-touch football sees Wiedeman almost home free, but a well-timed tackle keeps him out.
Substitution Eric Hassli Andrew Wiedeman
Di Vaio does well to get into the TFC six yard box, but his sharp angle shot has nowhere to go but straight at Hall. Game is getting stretched as both sides seem to have awoken from their early game slumber.
Yellow Card Hassoun Camara
Yellow to Camara as he knocks over Dunfield. The TFC players was trying to work a give and go with Luis Silva, but the Montreal defender ensured that Dunfield couldn't get clean into the area.
Substitution A. Wenger Lamar Neagle
Nyassi's weak shot is smothered by Hall. Teams picking up the pace a bit now as the crowd gets more lively.
TFC gets a header on framer from a Dunfield free kick into the Montreal area, but it's straight at Troy Perkins.
Substitution Callum Mallace Justin Mapp
Montreal gets a weak effort at goal through Wenger, but it does little to trouble Freddy Hall.
Yellow Card Richard Eckersley
The ensuing shot was a laughable one, as Mallace lays off to Nyassi, who hits a styrong ball WAY wide from 18 yards out.
Free kick coming up to Montreal as Nyassi is hauled down.
The ugliness of the first half has spilled into the second. Not a great advertisement for the game, here.
Reggie Lambe makes a great run down the right and cuts into the middle to unleash... a weak left footed effort that dribbled into Perkins' awaiting hands. Wasted chance by the Reds, there.
Silva gets a good shot off for Toronto, but his 19 yard blast is easy held by Perkins.
TFC bungle a free kick opportunity by trying to be too cute, and Montreal storms down the field and nearly scores through Wenger.
And the match is back underway!
Ref blows the whistle for halftime. Not a first half to write home about, that's for sure.
Aaron Maund gets on the end of a well-placed free kick into the Montreal area, but his headed effort is high.
Dunfield gets TFC's first real shot on goal, with a nice strike from 20 yards that is grabbed by Perkins.
Yellow Card Terry Dunfield
And just like that, Dunfield picks up the game's second yellow card for kicking out at Sanna Nyassi.
Still a ton of chippiness and not much else to this match. Teams very much asppear like they're playing out the string.
Substitution Logan Emory Adrian Cann
Adrian Cann set to enter the match as it appears that Logan Emory's day is done for Toronto FC. Emory's shoulder has been giving him problems.
Yellow Card Davy Arnaud
Arnaud gets the game's first caution after a clumsy challenge on Silva at midfield. Surprising that it's taken this long for the ref to dish out a card as both teams have been diving in.
Match has devolved as rain starts to trickle down. Really nothing more than a midfield battle between two sides missing many of their players.
No action taken as TFC gets a free kick and earns a corner kick seconds later.
players strewn about the pitch as Camara went in for a hard challenge. Will be interesting to see what the ref does here.
Wenger nearly takes advantage of a defensive miscue, but TFC's Emory puts him under enough pressure to force the shot wide.
Eric Hassli gets a header on frame after some good ball movement by TFC, but he's judged to be offside anyway.
Montreal has started positively with a couple of forays into Toronto's end. Nothing too dangerous yet, but the home side will want to stop the flow of traffic early.
And we're off!
Anthems are done. Players are lining up in their positions.
We're minutes away from kickoff at a chilly BMO Field in Toronto.

Today's match doesn't mean much in terms of standings, as both sides are already out of contention for the postseason. That said, neither of these teams would want to lose to their arch-rivals. Hopefully that makes for a great game.
