A great strike from Juninho in the first half and a vintage David Beckham free kick were all the Los Angeles Galaxy would need to take a 2-0 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday.
Juninho's goal came just before halftime and was a cracker. The midfielder fired into the upper corner from distance after picking up a pass from Robbie Keane.
Keane, who has a goal of his own ruled out for offside, would play a part in the clincher as well.
The forward drew a foul in the 78th that led to Beckham bending home another of his trademark free kicks, giving the Galaxy a comfortable home win.
