New England Revolution 0-0 Philadelphia Union: Revs and Union play to draw
The Revs and Union played out a 0-0 draw on Saturday night, with neither team able to score or stop its respective winless streak.
Patrick McDermott
The loss of Saer Sene is already showing in New England, where the Revolution couldn't find a way through the Philadelphia Union on Saturday night. The lack of scoring could have been more costly, but the Union's continued struggles let the Revs off the hook as both sides settled for a 0-0 draw.
Philly's Amobi Okugo came the closest to breaking the deadlock when he banged a header from a corner off the crossbar near the end of the first half.
Just after the break Brian Carroll had another great chance for the Union when a ball ended up at his feet just in front of New England's goal, but Matt Reis was on hand to deflect it over the bar with one of several big saves from the Rev's 'keeper on the night.
The Revs are now winless in 10, a club record. Philly hasn't tasted victory in six matches.
