A late goal from Wilman Conde saved the New York Red Bulls a point as the club took a 2-2 draw with D.C. United on Wednesday night.
Joel Lindpere had the Red Bulls in front inside 20 minutes after being slipped in on goal by a sliding Thierry Henry, but the lead wouldn't last long.
Moments later a clever chip from Dwayne De Rosario found Nick DeLeon unmarked in front of goal where he finished easily with a left-footed flick.
De Rosario made it 2-1 for the home side in the 68th with his 100th MLS goal, knocking home a header from the top of the box with DeLeon returning the favor with a long diagonal ball.
Conde's response came in the 88th and it was a stunner for the home side. After a cross was cleared back out of the box, the defender hammered home his shot through a crowd to give the game it's final scoreline and snatch a draw for the Red Bulls.
