The Columbus Crew stole three points from LIVESTRONG Sporting Park thanks to a 2-1 win over Sporting Kansas City.

The host had opened the scoring when Graham Zusi curled a free kick into the box. Kei Kamara won the duel with his marker near the penalty spot, opening the scoring with a header.

A double from Jairo Arrieta turned the game around in the first half. His first was a tidy far-post finish with his left after Josh Williams fed him in the box. Zusi's careless turnover created the next one. This time Arrieta cranked a right-footed shot from distance that beat Andy Gruenebaum.

Cole Grossman picked up two yellow cards in stoppage time to earn an ejection.

Kansas City held 68 percent of possession and fired off 25 shots, but couldn't find a way back into the match.
