LA Galaxy 1-2 Philadelphia Union: Omar Gonzalez returns
U.S. international Omar Gonzalez made a successful return just six months after tearing his ACL, but he wasn't on the field when Philly scored the stoppage-time winner.

Omar Gonzalez made his first LA Galaxy appearance of the season after tearing his ACL in January, playing 45 minutes in a 2-1 loss to the Philadelphia Union.
Jack McInerney scored deep into first half stoppage time. Michael Farfan sprinted past David Junior Lopes toward the endline and cut the ball back into the box. With his marker hanging tight, McInerney flicked the ball behind him with his heel, sending it smoothly into the bottom far corner.
Gonzalez made way at halftime as a precautionary measure. Sean Franklin replaced him.
Midway through the second half the Galaxy equalized. Landon Donovan slipped the ball to Todd Dunivant, who hit a low hard cross. Robbie Keane touched the ball on and Chad Barrett scored his first of the season.
The winner came in the 95th minute. Michael Farfan finished past Josh Saunders with a nice Lionard Pajoy backheel in the buildup.
