Will Bruin found the net early and Adam Moffat found it late as the Houston Dynamo took a 2-1 win in the only meeting between them and rival FC Dallas this season.
In between those goals FC Dallas had a goal of its own and a red card that eventually changed the outcome of the match.
Bruin's goal came with a nice finish just three minute in after an exchange of of passes near the top of Dallas' box. Jackson leveled the match for the visiting team after the break, latching onto a rebound after initially setting the stage for the goal with some nice work of his own through the middle.
Unfortunately for Dallas, shortly after pulling even Jair Benitez was sent off for an incident away from play, and the match changed in favor of the Dynamo.
Moffat found the winner with 15 minutes to play after a corner eventually fell kindly for him to stroke home.
