Montreal Impact 1-2 New York Red Bulls: 10-man Bulls come from behind to win
Referee Ismail Elfath whistled two soft penalties and dished out a harsh red card as the Red Bulls speared Montreal.

Two penalties and a red card marked New York's 2-1 win over the expansion Montreal Impact.
The hosting Impact took the lead 20 minutes into the game when Markus Holgersson was whistled for a handball in the area. The penalty may have been soft but Bernardo Corradi's shot wasn't. Arjen Robben in particular will note how the Italian aimed for the side of the goal.
Kenny Cooper similarly finished his penalty emphatically. His 10th goal of the season came after a Dane Richards cross grazed the hand of Tyson Wahl in what looked very much like a makeup call.
Victor Palsson was sent off for two yellow cards to put the Red Bulls down a man. Still, the visitors won the match thanks to Richards, who cleaned up a deflected Roy Miller cross midway through the second half.
