Montreal Impact 1-1 Chicago Fire: Massive crowd watches Montreal earn draw against Chicago
Montreal earned a draw in its home debut against the Chicago Fire in front of a massive crowd.
By Allen Ramsey
Richard Wolowicz
A crowd of 58,912 watched the Montreal Impact earn their first point as an MLS team with a 1-1 draw against the Chicago Fire.
Davy Arnaud made history for the home club with the team's first goal of the year in the 56th minute with a header from a Sanna Nyassi cross to give his side a lead, but it wouldn't be enough for all three points.
Dominic Oduro evened the match up 15 minutes later. A nice spell of play led to Sebastien Grazzini chipping a lovely little ball into the forward to touch home.
Nyassi has a look at a winner in the 86th when he broke down the right and cut inside. His shot was well saved by Paolo Tornaghi and match finished level.
