Mallorca 0-1 Athletic Bilbao (0-3 Agg): Ramis own goal confirms comfortable progression to semifinals for Basque side
Having scored two goals in the previous leg, los leones comfortably played through the match, with an own goal granting them the victory.

After a horrible mistake by home shot-stopper Juan Calatayud, Athletic Bilbao was able to stroll to a 1-0 victory over Mallorca in the second leg of their Copa del Rey quarterfinal at the Iberostar Stadium on Wednesday evening, and progress 3-0 on aggregate.
Ivan Ramis was unfortunate to score an own goal when he played a simple pass to Calatayud, who allowed the ball to roll over his foot and into the back of the goal.
The match began in slow fashion as the home side was playing as if it had a two-goal lead to defend, instead of a two-goal deficit to recuperate from. The away side did not look much better as it produced a slow and sluggish performance.
The first clear opportunity arose in the 20th minute after Chico Flores failed in his attempt to intercept a long pass headed towards his team's 18-yard box. Iker Muniain latched onto the ball and sent a strike from point-blank range towards goal, only to be denied by Calatayud.
Muniain would have to be substituted in the 40th minute because of a knock he picked up earlier in the game. Gaizka Toquero replaced the talented midfielder, whose injury will worry the Athletic faithful.
Moments later, Fernando Llorente came close to opening the scoring. The Spain international pounced at a corner kick but the resulting header went wide and neither side would threaten their opponents' goal again for the remainder of a dull first half.
In the second period, los Bermellones finally awoke and began to play near the away side's area. However, their efforts did not amount to anything except a few desperate shouts for a penalty.
Having left their search for a goal until the last 20 minutes of the half, Joaquin Caparros' men shot themselves in the foot. On what seemed to be a standard spell of play in the 76th minute, Ramis played a pass back towards Calatayud, but the keeper allowed the ball to roll over his foot and into the back of the net.
The home side attempted to get itself back into the match, but with little more than 10 minutes to play, it could not do much to better the scoreline.
The match, and indeed the tie, ended disastrously for the home side as Chico was sent off in the 90th minute after a hard tackle on Markel Susaeta.
With the victory, Athletic will now face Mirandes, conquerors of Espanyol, in the semifinals.
