Made a wonderful double save from Higuain and Khedira in the first period, then came off his line to clear under pressure from Higuain in second and forced Cristiano Ronaldo wide and saved from the Portuguese. Could have done better with the goal, though.
Muscular presence in the heart of the CSKA defense, but he was caught out of position at times and gave away a free kick in a dangerous area just outside the box when he obstructed Ronaldo.
Mix-up with his brother allowed Coentrao to win the ball on the left and cross for Ronaldo to open the scoring. But he shepherded the ball out well under pressure from Ozil and was positive going forward. Given problems by Ronaldo's pace on the flanks.
Mix-up with his brother allowed Coentrao to win the ball on the left and cross for Ronaldo to open the scoring. Struggled to deal with the pace of Ronaldo and Higuain, but a brave performance alongside Ignashevich as he put in a number of key tackles.
Raced forward in the seventh minute, got to the line and put in an inviting cross which Dzagoev volleyed wide. Did well defensively as he restricted the influence of Ozil, but should have got tight to Ronaldo as the Portuguese made it 1-0.
Volleyed wide in the seventh minute when Shennikov's cross needed him to improvise. Showed his quality as the locals dominated in the early stages but faded after that and was forced into more of a defensive role.
Very poor as he failed to deal with Coentrao's cross, his weak header went straight to Ronaldo at the far post and the Portuguese made it 1-0. Didn't offer enough going forward, either.
Worked hard in midfield but didn't offer much in terms of creativity and was replaced by Honda midway through the second period with the home side chasing the game.
Committed a number of fouls in midfield as he struggled to contain Xabi Alonso and Madrid's trio of forwards, eventually earning a booking for hauling back Ozil. Ended up as the hero as he bagged a last-gasp leveler.
Electrifying pace early on and looked a real danger, especially in the first half. Off target with two first half headers, also won a corner in the second half with a good run into the box.
Charged into the Madrid area early on but was denied by Pepe's timely tackle. Ran forward and drove a low shot straight at Casillas from the edge of the box when he should have squared to a teammate in the second half. Replaced after that.
Came on for the last 20 minutes or so and gave Madrid something else to think about, but looked way below his best and didn't cause the visitors too many problems.
Came on late in the game and made some good runs in the final third.
Came on for the last eight minutes after a long time out and didn't make much impact.
Not very much to do but wasn't entirely convincing as he punched away a second half free kick. Was left exposed for the goal and cannot be blamed, except perhaps in the organization of his defenders.
Hadn't put a foot wrong all night but must share some of the responsibility for the poor marking as CSKA leveled in the 93rd minute. Made one wonderful block in the first half, timed his tackles superbly and looked the best of Madrid's defenders on the night.
Solid at the back alongside Pepe for the most part, but must take some of the blame for the equalizer and was prone to some lapses in concentration as well, which could have been more costly. Looked dangerous at the other end and came close with a header.
Gave the ball away at times but looked generally tidy in defense and was positive going forward. It was his alert thinking to win the ball and cross for Cristiano Ronaldo to make it 1-0.
Neat and tidy as usual in his return to the side at right back, but didn't get forward as well as he should have and was beaten at times for pace, notably by Schennikov early on. Did enough to put Doumbia off with a header after that.
Worked tirelessly in central midfield, as he always does, and kept his passing simple alongside the more creative Xabi Alonso. A tidy performance defensively as he protected the back four, but he should have scored after Higuain's shot had been saved in the first half.
Made plenty of short, incisive passes, and lasted virtually the whole match before he was eventually replaced by Kaka after 85 minutes. Put in a lot of work but was missing the final ball he has delivered so many times for his fellow forwards.
Plenty of toil and technique from the Basque midfielder and his passing controlled the game for long periods after CSKA had threatened early on. Almost set up Ronaldo for a great chance, but was missing the killer ball as Madrid could have done with a second.
Worked the channels, never stopped running and was always available for his teammates, but wasn't able to provide the goal threat he has offered in recent times and his dribbles didn't really come off, either.
Had two great crosses early on as he switched flanks effectively and then put Madrid ahead with a fine finish. Was forced wide when he looked to add another and dragged another effort off target when he should have done better. Disappointing free kicks but positive overall.
Didn't see much of the ball early on and was forced off through injury.
Came on for the last five minutes to tighten up as Madrid looked to hold out for a 1-0 win. It didn't work as Wernbloom was left all alone to make it 1-1.
Came on late in the game and set up Ronaldo for one great opportunity which the Portuguese probably should have scored. Unlucky not to get more playing time after a positive performance at the weekend.
Replaced Benzema and almost scored with his first touch, but saw his low drive saved. His pace caused CSKA problems and he almost got in after the break, only to be beaten to the ball by Chepchugov. Full of running but didn't get a real chance after his first one.
