  • AND THAT'S IT!!!! Houston is in the final. Another strong showing by the Dynamo.
  • 90' + 6'
Call cut back by Bravoe across the goal, and that may have been Sporting's last chance at a consolation.
  • 90' + 4'
Costly was caught offside, and KC nearly made another mistake at the back while pushing forward. wouldn't matter at this point. Houston is headed to the final, and there's not much SKC can do to change that right now.
  • 90' + 3'
Still some time left, a couple of minutes of stoppage. Houston doesn't look troubled and is keeping the ball really well.
  • 90' + 1'
Kamara again, this time with the head. And it's right at Hall in the Houston goal.
  • 90'
A hit from Kamara!! High and hard.. over the bar.
  • 89'
It's going to take something very, very special for SKC to get back in this match.
  • 87'
    Yellow Card Carlo Costly
  • 87'
    Goal Carlo Costly
  • 87'
SKC struggling to find a way through. Houston still dominating the battle in the air... and Houston hits on the break!!!! Costly! It's 2-0, and that should be all she wrote. Carlo Costly gets in behind and finishes off the post!!!
  • 85'
    SubstitutionSeth Sinovic O. Bravo
  • 85'
Bravo is coming on the pitch. Sinovic off. Holding nothing back here.
  • 84'
SKC pressing with the ball. Jefferson plays Sinovic who lofts it into the box but there is nobody to get on the end of it.
  • 82'
    SubstitutionJulio Cesar Correira Jéferson
  • 82'
Very little time left for SKC to get back into this match.
  • 80'
Bruin is back up and playing. Houston is out of subs, so there really wasn't much choice there.
  • 79'
Play stops again with Will Bruin on the pitch. Cesar clipped him pretty badly, and once again no second yellow will be shown.
  • 78'
    SubstitutionBrian Ching Carlo Costly
  • 77'
No call again on what looked like a foul on the first view. Replays say it might not have been.
  • 75'
    SubstitutionR. Espinoza Davy Arnaud
  • 75'
Houston is coming back into the match a little more now. Better movement of the ball, and SKC is having to chase now. Taylor finally has it taken off him.
  • 74'
    Yellow Card R. Espinoza
  • 73'
Houston with a couple of throw-ins deep in SKC territory. Good break for a defense that has been under siege for the last 20 minutes.
  • 69'
No foul called as Sapong hits the deck.. ball comes back in and Hall has to chase down another poor back pass.
  • 68'
    SubstitutionCalen Carr Will Bruin
  • 68'
Houston finally gets the ball, wastes it again. Sloppy play. But can Sporting make the Dynamo pay?
  • 66'
Sporting is really controlling play right now. Houston looks like it feels the pressure. Lot of little mistakes right now out of the Dynamo.
  • 64'
To the credit of the officials, the whistle has been pretty much swallowed. As I say that, Kamara with a header flashing wide of the post. Still Houston not getting much of the ball.
  • 62'
Slide tackle from behind by Carr, foul called, no booking. Carr got off lucky there.
  • 60'
SKC with constant pressure on Houston now. A long throw coming in and Houston once again deals with the danger.
  • 58'
Houston with a cheap giveaway. A few of those coming of the Dynamo back line tonight. SKC hasn't made them pay for it yet though.
  • 56'
Now there's a mad scramble in front of the Houston goal! What a match we've got going. End to end action, and Hall finally is able to collect.
  • 55'
    Yellow Card Luiz Camargo
  • 54'
And it should have been 2-0!! Camargo is played in by Ashe, perfect ball, and Camargo takes a touch he didn't need and lets SKC get it clear!! What a miss!
  • 53'
    Goal Andre Hainault
GOAL!!!!!!!! And Houston makes the service count without Davis. Moffat puts it in a great place, Taylor hits the target and Hainault put away the rebound.
  • 52'
Free kick for Houston now. Pretty dangerous spot for service.
  • 50'
Hall called on again and it feels like SKC is getting closer now.
  • 49'
One thing the Davis injury does is pushes the faster Ashe higher up the pitch. He tried to sneak in behind but SKC seems well aware of the danger.
  • 48'
Zusi with the shot, didn't really get enough behind it to trouble Hall, and the keeper gives up nothing in terms of a rebound.
  • 46'
Cameron just tossed Bunbury off the ball in the box. Physical play, needs to be careful though.
  • 46'
Here we go!!! One half standing between these teams and the MLS Cup final.
  • 45' + 2'
Half has to be just about over. Ref has a check and there's the whistle. 0-0 but plenty to think about for the second half. Brad Davis is out, Houston has already used one sub, and there's 45 minutes of regular time left.
  • 45' + 1'
Sapong wins a free kick. SKC will get a chance to throw a ball into the box, goes behind for a goal kick.
  • 45'
Moffat taking over to take the corners for Davis, good ball in actually, but SKC gets it out of danger.
  • 44'
SKC feeling a second wind here, earned a corner, won it down to Sapong but he was handcuffed and couldn't get the shot off.
  • 41'
Bunbury, chasing down the lost cause, nearly got on the end of a back-header from Houston. Hall cleaned it up, but that would very much have been the insult added to injury.
  • 40'
Action is moving again. Taylor on the pitch going to left back, Ashe will move forward.
  • 39'
    SubstitutionBrad Davis Jermaine Taylor
Davis being helped off the pitch. Looks like the change is coming on now and that's a big storyline for this match.
  • 36'
This could be a big deal. Davis is down on the pitch and has been. Didn't look like much, but if he can't go it's a huge blow for Houston.
  • 33'
Back and forth stuff. Carr trying to hit Ching and then SKC, with Sapong leading the break. Both came up empty, but it's been a very good showing from both sides.
  • 32'
Looks like the visiting side has found its footing. SKC not doing as much as before, but still trying to get forward. Zusi with a shot blocked at the top of the box.
  • 30'
    Yellow Card Julio Cesar Correira
Cesar will pick up the yellow. Tough tackle, came in strong.
  • 29'
Another free kick for Houston, and we all know the danger there... but Davis doesn't really deliver with this one.
  • 27'
Moffat had a go off a restart from Davis. He put it over the bar, but it was a good thought.
  • 26'
KC pressing again, and the balls into Houston's box are being won by the Dynamo center backs fairly easily.
  • 23'
Houston clearly feeling confident in creating chances with the long balls. Not much of Brad Davis on the ball yet, and that probably has something to do with the SKC having more of the ball. Still, danger seems to be looming for both sides.
  • 22'
Ching nods one down and Carr is just off the pace from getting a final touch on it.
  • 21'
Can't really turn away at the moment. Plenty of action to keep you interested, maybe a bit disjointed, but the pace of the match should lead to plenty of excitement.
  • 20'
What a good match we've got here. The pace is good, energy is up, playoff soccer at its best.
  • 17'
    Yellow Card Calen Carr
  • 17'
Carr!!!! A huge chance... and it's saved!!! Neilsen comes up big to keep the match level. Carr was in alone. Best two chances of the night have come for Houston, but both came slightly against the run of play.
  • 16'
Ashe has it poked away by Kamara and the little defender has his hands full with the big forward. Another good move from SKC down the flank, Myers providing the overlap, and Houston has been a bit pinned in for the last few minutes.
  • 13'
Some real back and forth action right now. SKC getting the better of it, but Ching's chance was the best of the match so far.
  • 11'
Houston, equally, will have a difficult time going over the top to get in behind Sporting's back line, and yet that seems to be the plan right now. Espinoza just got in behind Houston's back line, good work from Sinovic to get the ball in, and the play is killed by a poor pullback.
  • 9'
SKC goes for the ball in from the wing. Very tough to beat Houston in the air. Cameron and Boswell are both very good with their heads.
  • 8'
Ching just let SKC off the hook. What a great ball from Camargo to chip it in behind, and Ching was there but went for the chip himself and missed the target.
  • 7'
Cesar tries to thread a ball through for Kamara. Too far even for his pace to get on the end of.
  • 5'
Kamara comes right back and ghosts past Corey Ashe. Can't produce the final ball needed though, and Houston gets away from a moment of danger.
  • 4'
SKC looking for the long throw. Houston deals with it and comes away on the break, with Cruz trying to find Carr on the run in behind. The offside flag halts the move.
  • 2'
Early exchanges see long balls drift over the top. Sporting puts in the first real move of the game, Kamara has a hit that Hall gets down and holds.
  • 1'
And we are off!! One of these teams will be playing for an MLS title in two weeks.
  • SKC has had the better of this matchup this season and it was the home match that made the difference. In that match, Houston couldn't contain Sporting's pace up top, but with Geoff Cameron at the back now, the Dynamo have been a different team. He provides pace and size and is one to keep an eye on throughout the night.
  • A great match getting set to kick off in Major League Soccer. Houston and Kansas City in the Eastern Conference. Brad Davis on one side, Teal Bunbury on the other, with plenty of talent surrounding both of them. Both sides looked strong in the conference semifinals with wins on the roads and at home, and it's really a matchup of KC's high powered attack against Houston and a stern defensive group.
