St. Kitts and Nevis 0-0 Canada: Canucks advance to third round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying
Canada's 100th World Cup qualifying match ended in a drab scoreless draw, but the point was enough to secure passage to the next round for the Canucks.

Canada needed one point from its last two matches in Round 2 CONCACAF World Cup qualifying to advance, and it got exactly that in a 0-0 draw away at St. Kitts and Nevis.
"We're through. First of all you have to take that positive out of it," defender Adam Straith said. "But it wasn't a good performance by all means."
An uneven pitch at Warner Park in Basseterre and physical play led to an uninspired scoreless draw. The closest chance came in the 90th minute when Simeon Jackson's breakaway failed to beat the goalkeeper.
"When we did have possession, we did not pass the ball well at all," coach Stephen Hart said. "When we did create chances we didn't take the chances. And we allowed them way too much space, especially on the wings."
Still, goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld posted a clean sheet, Canada's fourth in five matches.
Canada has one more - now meaningless - game in Round 2, when the same two teams will square off in Toronto's BMO Field on Tuesday.
After that, the Canucks will join Honduras, Cuba and Panama in a six-match series next year to determine which sides advance to the final round of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
The United States' group includes Jamaica, Guatemala and Antigua-Barbuda.
