DID YOU KNOW?
  • Canada beat Puerto Rico 3-0 on Sept. 6 on the road in the second match of CONCACAF Round 2 World Cup qualifying.

  • The Canucks lead their four-team group with nine points from three games. Puerto Rico is in third with two points from three games. Only the top team in the group advances to Round 3 of qualifying.
  • Canada's 7-0 win over St. Lucia on Friday eliminated the tiny Caribbean nation. A win in this match will also eliminate Puerto Rico.
  • A win in this match and another win against second placed St. Kitts and Nevis in their next match on Nov. 11 will see the Canucks qualify for Round 3 with one match left to play.
  • Canada midfielder Will Johnson is heading back to Real Salt Lake with an ankle injury and won't play against Puerto Rico
  • Defender Andre Hainault will also miss this match, as he's decided to stay with the Houston Dynamo for a crucial MLS match instead of accepting a call-up to the Canadian national team.
