    Saved well from Doyle early on and rushed out to stop Jarvis late in the first half. Could do nothing to prevent either goal in the second half.

    Defended well against the threat of Foley and attacked down the flank with menace which gave Gutierrez more freedom. They linked up well down the left and caused Wolves problems. Poor in the second half.

    Great strike to double Newcastle’s lead, after Wolves gave him time and space to pick his spot. Had a great first half and was at the center of everything the Magpies did going forward. Had brief moments in the second half.

    Competed well in midfield and used his physical play to win the ball. From that he gave Newcastle an excellent platform to attack. Showed why he was missed when at the African Cup of Nations. Struggled to get going again in the second half.

    Good finish from close range to give the Magpies the lead showing his predatory instincts to be at the right place in the right time. Gave Wolves defense all sorts of problems with his pace and movement. Faded in the second-half.
