That's it! A shocking result as Villa wins 3-1 at Stamford Bridge. The pressure is really going to be piled on Villas-Boas after this one.
Lampard with a horrible giveaway to Ireland, who is clean through. He slides a pass over to Bent and he finishes past Cech. The Bridge is stunned
Assist Stephen Ireland
Goal Darren Bent
ANOTHER GOAL VILLA! Bent scores and it's game over!
Substitution Stilian Petrov Barry Bannan
Clark found Petrov between the center backs with Luiz out to sea. The Bulgarian was composed, and hit a low finish to the far post. Disaster for the home side
Assist Ciaran Clark
Goal Stilian Petrov
Then a second later, Villa goes in front! It's Petrov putting the visitors ahead!
Two penalty shouts for Villa, but none given!
Villa sitting back now, content to try and hold onto the point. Pressure on Chelsea to avoid another draw
Gary Gardner makes his Villa debut, brother of Sunderland's Craig Gardner
Substitution Marc Albrighton Gary Gardner
Substitution Charles N'Zogbia Darren Bent
Chelsea starting to sense blood in the water. Villa preparing a double substitution.
Fantastic strike from distance from the substitute Bosingwa, it's swerving in the air and Guzan makes a great save
Substitution Paulo Ferreira José Bosingwa
Great turn and pass from Torres finds Drogba in the box, but his effort is disappointing, and the ball is dragged wide of the near post
Petrov goes down injured, and play is halted for a couple minutes
Poor clearance from Luiz and poor defense from Cole leads to an Albrighton half-volley, but it's straight at Cech
Yellow Card Carlos Javier Cuéllar
Penalty shout for Chelsea! Cole played it off Dunne's arm, but it was against his chest and play is rightly waived on
Substitution Daniel Sturridge Fernando Torres
And right away, Torres smashes a shot off the bar! Fantastic hit from distance, Guzan was beaten.
Torres is on and rather surprisingly, it's Sturridge who is removed. Hasn't been his greatest game to be fair
Fantastic run from Mata, who floats a great cross into the middle, but Warnock is able to defend the header from Sturridge
Substitution Oriol Romeu Frank Lampard
Agbonlahor turns Terry in the box, but his near-post finish spins wide
Andre Villas-Boas must be getting frustrated on the touchline. I'd expect to see Lampard and/or Torres on sometime soon.
Chance Villa! Agbonlahor is played through by Albrighton and is all alone with Cech, but his finish isn't firm enough and goes straight to the goalkeeper
Warnock drives forward and earns a free kick. Cross comes in and finds Collins' chest at the far post, and it nearly deflects in
An early chance for Chelsea as Mata's cross fizzes through the box, but nobody can get a touch on it
The second half is underway! No changes at halftime for either side
That's the half. Chelsea has failed to impress at home thus far, and despite having more of the ball, needed a silly challenge by Richard Dunne to concede the penalty leading to its goal.
Another free kick for Chelsea, this time in a much more dangerous position. Drogba's shot takes a touch going through the wall and goes wide for a corner
Free kick for Chelsea, and Drogba sends it well over the bar
Chelsea probing now, but Dunne makes a few good interventions in a row to snuff out the attack
Warnock with a great block on Mata after Guzan can only palm Drogba's cross to the Spain international.
Yellow Card John Terry
Heavy challenge from Terry on Agbonlahor near midfield earns the England captain a yellow card
Despite conceding, Chelsea might be lucky there. Terry appeared to have blocked the ball off the line with his arm, which would have been a penalty and quite possibly a red card also
Ireland with some great work, gets the ball to N'Zogbia, who beats his man and draws it back to Ireland. His initial shot is blocked by Terry off the line, but he puts in the rebound for his first Aston Villa goal
Assist Charles N'Zogbia
Goal Stephen Ireland
And just as I say that, Villa has the equalizer!
Chelsea hasn't been too impressive so far, but it has the lead thanks to a bad challenge from Dunne. Villa will feel like it can respond here
Penalty Goal Didier Drogba
Drogba steps up and....GOAL CHELSEA! Puts it under Guzan's dive and he really could have saved that
Penalty Chelsea! Dunne with a really foolish lunge on Drogba. Gave the referee no choice
Chance for Villa to break, but Ireland's pass is behind the surging Albrighton. On the other end, Sturridge pulls back onto his left and fires just over the bar.
Agbonlahor's pace is giving Luiz some trouble down the left side. As usual, he looks like Villa's best attacking threat
Sturridge sends a floated ball going well over the net, but Guzan, for some reason, tries to save it from going out and cheaply gives away a corner in the process. Mistake from the U.S. keeper there
Albrighton sends a great cross in for Agbonlahor, but Luiz is tight to his man and is able to win the header
Almost the entire match being played in Villa's half so far, as expected. Villa will look to utilize the counterattack
Ramires sneaks in and wins the ball from Dunne, who then has to foul the Brazilian. Mata whips the free kick in, but it's cleared
Chelsea on the offensive right off the bat, winning a corner
We are underway at Stamford Bridge!
