Swansea full-back Neil Taylor's return to fitness could come for Queens Park Rangers' visit to Swansea's Liberty Stadium on Tuesday evening. The Wales international  picked up an injury in the Welsh side's 1-0 defeat at Everton last Wednesday night. The former Wrexham man has battled with a knee problem since that cold night in the North West, and has yet to shake off hard tackle that saw him hobble off at Goodison Park.
Angel Rangel returned to first team action on Wednesday night by taking Taylor's place, so if Neil were to be deemed unfit come Tuesday Brendon Rogers need not frett.
The Swans will be without some of their most prolific figures when QPR make the trip to South Wales, Nathan Dyer is out with an ankle niggle, Alan Tate is still recovering from a broken leg and Ferrie Bodde is still battling with a knee injury.
QPR will yet again leave Anton Ferdinand behind for their Festive trip, the 26-year-old defender did return to training last Friday after battling with a niggling hamstring injury in recent weeks. Manager Neil Warnock has deemed him unfit to play come Tuesday and expects him to come back against fellow Premier League newcomers Norwich on the 2nd of January.
Shaun Wright-Phillips won't feature in the Blue and White's game after recently going for a precautionary scan due to some knee troubles. Phillips' teammate Kieron Dyer will not be fit after recently undergoing foot surgery, he is expected to return to full fitness in time for July's pre-season friendlies.

QPR have won only one game in their last eight, losing three of their last top-flight clashes.
Queens Park Rangers are one goal away from their 100th away goal in the Premier League.
The Londoners' last victory at Swansea was in January 1981, at the old Vetch Field stadium.
Players to Watch
Swansea
Michel Vorm - Brendon Rodgers's summer signing has definitely blossomed in recent weeks, with incredible performances against Everton, Fulham and Manchester United, the Dutchman has settled superbly into the English game and is looking to maintain Swansea's terrific home form come Tuesday night.
QPR
Heiðar Helguson - The Icelandic frontman has been a consistent and reliable source of goal for Neil Warnock this season, he has managed to cement his place in the Queens Park Rangers first team in recent weeks and is sure to cause problems for the home side at the Liberty Stadium.
Prediction
Both teams have struggled to score goals this season and despite a high-scoring affair not looking too probably, the game is sure to excite come Tuesday tea-time. Swansea's fast paced and slick pacing style will be sure to dazzle the Londoners at times, but with QPR's physical and tactical presence in their arsenal, the game will definitely produce some fireworks down in South Wales.
1 -
Swansea fullback Neil Taylor could return to fitness in time for QPR's visit to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday evening. The Wales international picked up an injury in the 1-0 defeat at Everton last week. Angel Rangel would start in his place if he does not recover, however.

The Swans will be without some of their most prolific figures when QPR makes the trip to south Wales. Nathan Dyer is a doubt with an ankle niggle, Alan Tate is still recovering from a broken leg and Ferrie Bodde is still battling with a knee injury.

QPR will yet again leave Anton Ferdinand behind. The 26-year-old defender returned to training last Friday after recovering from a hamstring problem, but manager Neil Warnock does not expect him to be back until the turn of the year.

Shaun Wright-Phillips is very doubtful due to knee trouble.
