Not really tested until late on but made the saves when he was called on.

Looked fine in defense aside from one or two minor slips, but didn't offer much going forward.

Got forward well after being beaten for speed by Simpson early on. A good showing for Cherundolo, but nothing spectacular.

Not a bad showing out of the center back. Played well in tandem with Goodson to keep Canada's forwards in check. Made a few great late tackles to save chances.

Won plenty of balls in the air and looked confident organizing the back four.

Very active first half. Played box to box and set up some dangerous chances. Picked up a cheap yellow card, but was involved all night.

Not a bad showing. Did well to help press the USA attack and looked confident on the ball. Was unlucky to see his early freekick deflected over the bar but got his goal before it was over.

A bit careless in possession but did very well in winning balls back for the USA. Subbed out in the second half after seemingly picking up a knock.

Good showing from Donovan.Tracked back well and set up Altidore's early goal. Was also involved in Dempsey's goal.

Poor positioning on the USA's first goal allowed Altidore to pick up the ball deep and turn to shoot. Not a great outing.

Solid at the back, did well to keep Agudelo largely in check, and was Canada's best defender on the night.

Good running up the left flank but was caught out a few times by Donovan and Cherundolo.

Sat deep and tried to distribute but couldn't really contain the USA midfield and was caught out on two many occasions. Struggled to contain the USA midfield and looked over matched.

Great hustle from the all-action midfielder, but the final ball was elusive all evening long.

Great pace up the left. Ran past Cherundolo one early and looked dangerous at times.

Not the type of showing Canada needed from its star against its biggest rival. Marked well all night and had almost no impact

Let a few balls slip in behind him on the right of Canada's defense and really didn't offer much going forward.

Had some dazzling runs onto the USA's box and looked like the most dangerous player in Canada's attack in terms of running at the USA's back line.
