Goal.com looks at the players on show in Roma's 2-0 victory over Juventus in the Coppa Italia.
By Luke Matthews
The 'keeper did make a few decent stops and can't really be blamed for either Roma goals although his dive for Vucinic's stunner looked a bit halfhearted.
Subdued performance against his former side. Defended adequately but struggled to offer effective support in attack.
Poor marking for Taddei's late goal but apart from that not an awful performance. Won a few headers and made some decent interceptions.
The no-nonsense center-half had an average game. Not really to blame for the goals and he did put some good challenges in. Not his best outing though.
Looked very uncomfortable at times playing out of position and Menez had the better of him in the first-half. He did improve in the second but this was probably because Menez had been substituted.
Quiet game for the ex-Catania man who looks a little out of sorts at Juventus. Not really given the opportunity to find that killer ball but didn't exactly look for it either.
Was tough in the tackle as always and did get stuck in. However, he was not as forward-thinking as he should of been, choosing to play the simple ball when his side required something a little extra.
Terrible game for the midfielder. He looked lethargic throughout and his passing was very poor. Will need to improve if he is going to be in Juventus' plans for the remainder of the season.
Very poor showing in the first half but the Italian international did improve in the second where he looked far more energetic, passing the ball well.
The veteran tried hard but to no avail. Failed to get the required support and was left isolated for a lot of the second half.
Shocking. The ex-Palermo striker hardly touched the ball in the first half and when he did he failed to make the most of it. Came off at half-time.
The left-back entered the game late on and did not have a lot to do defensively as his team searched for an equalizer.
Juventus' best player when he came on for the second half. The only player in black and white who looked like making something happen and had the Roma defense worried.
The striker came on for Pepe in the final half hour but struggled to get into the game and the Roma defense always looked capable of keeping him quiet.
The Brazilian shot-stopper had a very quiet evening with Juve struggling to test him throughout the game.
Solid game from the reliable full-back who kept Pepe quiet all evening. One of his better performances this season.
The French international looked solid throughout, making several telling interceptions and being strong in the tackle. Came very close with a header in the second half.
The Argentinian played well tonight. Was always a threat on set-pieces and dealt well with the aerial threat of Amauri in particular.
The Norwegian was always looking to get forward to support the Roma attack and dealt comfortably with Martinez down the wing.
The Brazilian showed an impressive array of passing ability in the game and looked to get forward when possible. Guilty of missing a close range effort on 18 minutes but in fairness to him, the angle was tight.
The midfielder was fairly quiet in the first half but came out in the second and bossed the midfield. He played two great balls for both Vucinic and Taddei's goals.
The midfielder was struggling from the early stages of the game and it was a surprise he made it to just before half-time.
The experienced midfielder passed it well throughout the game but could have done with supporting the attack a little more especially as they lacked in numbers going forward. However he did make some good interceptions in the middle.
The Montenegro striker showed great energy and produced a wondergoal to give Roma the lead. Brilliant moment of magic.
The Frenchman was the liveliest player on the pitch in the first half, a constant nuisance to Grygera and Juve in general. Picked up a knock at the end of the first period and was substituted at the break.
The Brazilian came on for the injured Brighi just before half-time and played very well. His deliveries on set-pieces were great and he scored a terrific volley to wrap up the victory for his side late on.
The striker did well when he entered the game at half-time and in particular offered more presence up front for the Romans which is what was required. Held the ball up well.
