Player Ratings: Sevilla 3-4 Braga (3-5 Agg.
Goal.com rate the players on show as Sevilla fail to qualify for the Champions League group stage..
A shocking performance quite simply. Two costly errors put an already nervous side to the sword.
Rarely got to support the attack but was solid in defense even though Aguiar shaded their battle in the first hour.
Did well getting forward but defensively he struggled and has a lot to do to adequately replace Sebastien Squillaci.
Defensively he was not disgraced but was exposed on a couple of occasions on the counterattack as he continually tried to support Sevilla's stagnant attack.
Looked a shadow of his normal self but still managed to thwart a certain first half goal for Matheus to keep the home side alive but was eventually terrorized by Lima.
Willing in terms of effort, he showed neat footwork but his crossing was all too often wayward. He took his goal well to give them a brief lifeline.
Toiled tirelessly in the middle and tried to drive his side forward as well as marshaling his defensive midfield post. Can hold his head high.
Showed some nice touches early on but when the tough got going he virtually disappeared and was rightly replaced although it was too late.
Anonymous first half, he improved in the second session but not enough to really threaten.
Showed well as the target man throughout, particularly in the first half. He wasn't at his sharpest in front of goal and even when he found the net it was somewhat fortuitous.
Guilty of wasting some good opportunities and only managed to find the net when Sevilla were dead and buried.
Added much needed support for Zokora in midfield but at that stage the damage was already done.
Was a breath of fresh air in attack, a real handful for Braga's defense and almost singlehandedly dragged Sevilla back into contention.
Offered very little in his brief time on the field.
His mistake for Fabiano's goal will be quickly forgotten in victory but was otherwise solid until the end when he was found wanting against Kanoute.
Kept Perotti quiet for virtually the entire match, very solid defensive display.
Clever performance, refused to get drawn into an aerial battle and instead mopped up behind aerial duels.
Battled hard against Fabiano and did enough to allow his side to get a stranglehold on the game, Was slack towards the end but the job was done by then.
Ran ragged by Navas for large periods and never got close enough to the speedy winger.
Showed some very nice touches and worked hard in a disciplined team display.
Had to work hard off the ball and used it to good effect when his side launched their lethal counterattacks.
Blew hot and cold in a first half battle with Konko and was replaced by Lima shortly after half-time.
Ran tirelessly to close spaces and restrict Sevilla's options in attack and continued his efforts bursting forward on the counter.
Saw little of the play in the first half but was alert when called upon. Stopped by a brilliant Escude tackle, he was on hand to take his chance, showing great composure to slot home under Palop after the 'keeper spilled Cesar's shot. Made Lima's first with a well-timed run.
Sacrificed his striking role dropping deep to help out his midfield. Brilliant surging run and shot to test Palop and force the opening goal.
Came in at a key time when nerves were shaky after Fabiano scored and helped to shore up the Braga defense.
Sealed Sevilla's fate in lethal fashion, clinically finishing three very different goals to give his side a deserved win. An excellent, efficient 35 minutes.
Fresh legs didn't allow Sevilla to completely abandon defensive duties in the latter stages.
