Juventus managed to achieve a victory against a surprisingly lacklustre Udinese in an exciting game in Udine. Leonardo Bonucci, Fabio Quagliarella and Claudio Marchisio scored before half-time to leave the hosts empty handed at the very foot of the table.

Juve started the game on the front foot and with Alessandro Del Piero and Milos Krasic particularly active in the early minutes. There was a strong feeling that once the visitors score, the floodgates will open and so it happened.

First Leonardo Bonucci scored his first goal for the Old Lady in Serie A from close range in the 18th minute, following a Del Piero free-kick on the right, amidst suspicions of foul play by Giorgio Chiellini in the box.

Six minutes later, Fabio Quagliarella scored what could prove to be the goal of the day with a delightful backheeled finish from inside the goal area after a Krasic cross from the right.

Antonio Di Natale tried to show his team that the game is not over with a mazy fifteen minutes from the half-time whistle, but to no avail as the hosts conceded a third shortly after. Udinese paid the price of their reckless attacks, when Claudio Marchisio volleyed in the upper left corner from inside the penalty area. Milos Krasic was once again the one to provide the decisive cross in what to proved to be the final moment of interest for the first half.

Udinese started the second period with more urge in attack. Alexis Sanchez had a fine chance six minutes after the break, but could not score for the visitors from inside the box. Juventus also threatened through the ever-active Krasic, who saw a shot from 30 yards miss narrowly by the left post.

Simone Pepe and substitute Vincenzo Iaquinta had chances to score later on, but both were let down by poor finishing. Antonio Floro Flores went close in the 65th minute after he headed wide from inside the goal area, following a corner on the right.

Vincenzo Iaquinta made it four with a superb strike into the bottom corner near the 80-minute mark. Both teams spared themselves more efforts and the match ended 4-0.

Juventus host to Palermo in four days, while Udinese travel to Bologna a day earlier.
