A virtual spectator for the majority of the match. Called into action on one occasion and made a fine save to deny Javier Chevanton.
Right-back was up against Lecce'smost threatening player in Djamel Mesbah but coped admirably and even found time to get forward, particularly in the first half.
An imperious defensive performance from 34-year-old. Always looking to buld from the back and marshalled lone-striker Daniele Corvia with ease.
The young Brazlian has come on leaps and bounds since his early days with Milan and capped a fine performance with a goal in the 23rd minute. Grows in stature with each passing game.
Very little to do in the first half and attempted to get forward and support the attack. Will face much tougher opponents than Munari in the weeks and months to come, though.
Milan captain does the unglamorous work in midfield but his contribution did not go unnoticed by the home crowd, who give him a warm reception when he was replaced in the 71st minute.
Playmaker dictated the game in the middle of the park.
Put in a decent shift in the centre of the park but certainly not his best game in a Milan shirt. Missed an absolute sitter in the 40th minute.
The Brazilian fantasista was back to his brilliant best. Mesmerised Lecce with his tricks and flicks and set up two goals.
Youngster helped himself to a double. His electric pace will be giving the Lecce defence nightmares for weeks to come.
Played at the apex of Milan's attacking trident but made little impact. Gave Ibrahimovic little to doubt that he will be a permanent fixture in his new side's attack.
Replaced Pato in the 76th minute and played a part in Inzaghi's goal.
Midfield rottweiler replaced Ambrosini and was his usual tenacious self. It was his great work on the right that eventually led to the fourth goal.
Came on for the ineffectual Borriello on the hour. Scored and hit the post in an impressive cameo performance.
You have to feel sorry for the Lecce goalkeeper, Had little chance with any of the goals and made a few decent stops.
Young Inter loanee was given a torrid time by Ronaldinho, but somehow managed to come out of the match with his dignity intact. Looks like he has potential to grow into a good Serie A player.
Part of a central defence that parted like the red sea on numerous occasions during the first half. Will need to do better to impress parent club Roma.
Like partner Sini, will need to improve on this shambolic performance or Lecce will be heading straight back to Serie B.
Left-back was terrorised by Pato to the extent that he was replaced by Chevenaton in the 32nd minute.
Couldn't get near Pirlo, Seedorf or Ambrosini in the midfield engine room.
Right-midfielder found himself tracking Antonini's runs rather than getting forward himself and was replaced early in the second half.
Inspirational Uruguayan captain tried to retain possession in the middle of the park but was always fighting an uphill battle.
Battled beside fellow Uruguayan Giacomazzi to stem the tide. Had a decent enough second half.
Flying Algerian winger tried desperately to make things happen for his side but got little change out of a miserly Milan defence..
Had the unenviable task of playing as the lone striker in a 4-5-1 formation but didn't work Nesta and Thiago Silva nearly enough.
Replaced Giuliatto in the 32nd minute to make his second debut for the club he left in 2004. Had a curling shot brilliiantly saved by Abbiati in the 86th minute.
Argentinian came on for the Munari in the 55th minute and helped play his part in a more respectable second half performance.
Joined the action in the final minute, taking the place of fellow substitute Chevanton.
