Final whistle goes. Fulham and West Ham both in the relegation zone.
Luckily for everybody not in a West Ham jersey, this one is almost over.
Substitution Frédéric Piquionne Frank Nouble
Comically bad from Fulham here. No real ideas. West Ham are just waiting for the next mistake to give them another chance.
Not much left to say here. Fulham still searching and not finding.
Fulham look like a team that is just a year or two past it all around the field. Be careful Liverpool, this is what Roy Hodgson will leave you with.
Odd stat. First time in eight years Cole has a brace in the EPL. Good to see Fulham are good for something.
EJ!!! No.. Denied by Robert Green. It was a glorious chance and EJ really didn't do anything wrong there, Green just made another great save.
Goal Carlton Cole
Clinical there from Carlton Cole. It's 3-1. Hangeland beaten again, Cole with a left footed effort into the corner. I wonder if that was the nail in Mark Hughes' coffin.
Another cross from Salcido. Nobody on the end of it and the Bobby Zamora song breaks out.
Every picture of Mark Hughes on the Fulham bench tells the story. The guy looks moments away from crying.
Damien Duff with a left footed hit. It's another long range effort though, and what Fulham needs right now is a real chance from a good position.
Back down at the other end Hangeland plays A. Johnson through on goal but Green is out to make the save.
Like there.. Another nearly moment, Cole hits a backheel that sets up shot, narrowly missed.
This is a good spell from West Ham. That should make you a bit nervous if you're a Fulham fan. Everytime the Hammers touch the ball they come close to scoring.
Just saw possession stats. 66 - 34 in favor of Fulham, just so you don't think I'm making up how much they've been on the ball.
Some good signs early from Eddie here. He's involved in the play again, winning a header to Andrew Johnson, but the English Johnson uses his hand to control.
Yellow Card John Pantsil
Nice turn from EJ, his first real touch of the ball. Lays it wide to Davies and the cross is lacking.
Another long spell on the ball for Fulham, another disappointing end. If goals weren't part of the game, this would be a great team. Unfortunately, they're great from box to box, and poor on both ends.
This will be EJ's longest run for quite some time. Nice to see him back on the pitch with actual time to try and make an impact.
Substitution Dickson Etuhu Eddie Johnson
Substitution Clint Dempsey Damien Duff
Dempsey coming off the pitch right now along with Etuhu. I think the American is a bit banged up. Good news though, Eddie Johnson is on the pitch, so there is still hope of an American scoring here.
Cole should have made it 3-1 there. Another poor piece of play from Fulham and West Ham crash forward. Not ideal.
Yellow Card Matthew Upson
Dempsey draws a foul in a very dangerous spot. Silly foul by Upson, Clint had nowhere to go there. Looks like Salcido make get a crack at it. Now he back off and Danny Murphy pushed it over the bar.
Having Andrew Johnson back should be a positive for Fulham, but it hasn't been to this point. Fulham keep looking for him over the top and it's not working.
Back for the second half and we're underway.
Halftime now. Here's the rundown. Fulham have had the ball, West Ham have not, but three chances and two goals from the Hammers have the home side wondering what hit them at the break.
Assist Scott Parker
Goal Frédéric Piquionne
Piquionne with the goal and it couldn't have been much better. For those still clamoring to see Hangeland at a better team, have a look at the highlights of this game and watch that goal. How do you not pick up the forward at the back post.
Carlton Cole nearly made it 2-1 to West Ham with another break on goal, and then... there it is, a second from West Ham.
To Fulham's credit, they've picked back up the pace. Dempsey and Tompkins just collided there, looks like both players are a bit worse off than before, but no real harm. Foul called on the American though.
What a disappointing end tot he half from Fulham. Once again they're on level terms, let's hope for more goals out of this one. Although, the more Zoltan Gera touches the ball, the further away a second goal seems.
Goal Carlton Cole
And then, just like that, it's level. Etuhu is trying to keep a hopeless cross out of Fulham's box, takes a bad touch, West Ham pounce, 1-1 game.
Rob Green and Gera crash into each other after a Pantsil cross. Really not much to talk about in the last few minutes. Fulham have the ball, West Ham are chasing.
Dempsey had a real chance to make it 2-1 there. Davies and Johnson make a nice move down the right with a couple of quick passes. Davies with the cross into Dempsey's head, but the American looked as though he missed timed the jump and sent the header up instead of down.
Clear hand ball by Upson in the middle of the park wins the ball back for West Ham. Carlton Cole breaks on Fulham's goal after the no-call. Pantsil is in the right spot though killing off the danger.
Finally a nice push from West Ham. Hangeland and Salcido made a mess of it on Fulham's left letting the Hammers push with numbers, but the cross was poor at best.
Play is all in favor of Fulham right now. West Ham have barely had a touch in the last three minutes. Wasted possession mostly, but the Cottagers seem to know this is a must-win.
Salcido wins a corner with another of his charging runs down the left. The Mexican fullback is a handful and he and Dempsey have formed a nice pairing on the left.
Better play here from Fulham. Andrew Johnson, freshly back in the starting XI, is causing some problems and Dempsey is starting to get a bit more involved. Nothing extra came of it, but a nice combination down the right.
Fulham are living dangerously since the goal. Sloppy passing is the quickest way to make this a 1-1 game.
Assist Simon Davies
Goal Aaron Hughes
That's a first goal for Hughes with Fulham. Bit shocking really that he hasn't scored more.
And Fulham go on top.. Aaron Hughes with a free header from the six yard box. What are West Ham doing?
And for the Mexico fans joining us this morning, there's been a Carlos Salcido sighting, a shot from long range.
Not a bad cross in there from Pantsil, Dempsey tried to get up to meet it but just didn't quite make it.
West Ham now with the chance from a set play but the shot is ripped directly into the wall.
A dangerous spot here for West Ham. Murphy lines up a free kick from a good spot, ball in is not bad but easy enough to deal with.
Ready to get cracking on the Americans Abroad game of the week. Jonathan Spector is not in West Ham's starting XI but Clint Dempsey is in his normal spot on the left for Fulham.
We're underway. It's Fulham hosting West Ham with both teams in desperate need of points.
