  • 90' + 1'
AJAX!!!! The champions once again. A dominant showing and a bit of revenge for the cup final last week.
  • 90'
    Couple of minutes of stoppage.
  • 88'
    Yellow Card Theo Janssen
  • 87'
There doesn't seem to be any way back for Twente now. Ajax looks comfortable in defense of this lead.
  • 84'
The look on the faces in the Twente squad give you some idea of how this has gone for them today. Not pleased with the result right now, but still trudging forward.
  • 83'
    SubstitutionNacer Chadli Emir Bajrami
  • 81'
    SubstitutionLorenzo Ebecilio André Ooijer
  • 80'
    Yellow Card Roberto Rosales
  • 80'
So much to do now for Twente. Two goals required to get the title.
  • 78'
    Assist Christian Eriksen
  • 78'
    Goal Siem de Jong
  • 78'
And that may do it!!! Ajax with a third. Siem de Jong with the great finish, chipping lightly over the keeper and in. He's been great all day.
  • 76'
Dangerous attack from Twente. Ball ends up being missed and put over the goal, but there was a real threat to Ajax.
  • 74'
    Yellow Card Vurnon Anita
  • 74'
Twente with a free kick from a dangerous position, but it's wasted by Janssen.
  • 73'
    SubstitutionN. Boilesen Daley Blind
  • 71'
I feel like the next goal will decide the title. Both sides pushing hard for that goal.
  • 69'
Last couple of minutes riddled with fouls. Ref trying to get a hold on what was becoming a nasty little spell.
  • 68'
    SubstitutionDenny Landzaat Marc Janko
  • 67'
    SubstitutionMiralem Sulejmani Eyong Enoh
  • 67'
If it's attackers running at defenders you want to see you've come to the right place. One long dash after another from both sides.
  • 64'
Being that Twente just needs one goal to come out of this ahead, I'd be hard-pressed to pick a winner. Great match going on though.
  • 60'
de Jong, the Ajax brother, has been an absolute monster this match. He just tried to around-the-world Twente's defense. Great stuff from him. Great show of skill and confidence.
  • 56'
Ruiz is a different man in the second half. Twente getting the striker involved more often, running the attack through him more.
  • 55'
    Yellow Card Douglas
  • 54'
Getting rough on the pitch. You figure there will be plenty of venom in this closing run, and with both sides in attack mode somebody will take a shot or two along the way.
  • 50'
No doubt in my mind that there are more goals to come. Twente has opened this game up with the goal cutting the lead to one.
  • 48'
This is wild.. Twente has already answered. It's 2-1 and if you blinked or came back late from the break you've missed two goals.
  • 47'
    Assist Luuk de Jong
  • 47'
    Goal Theo Janssen
  • 46'
    Own Goal Denny Landzaat
  • 46'
Back at it, second frame starting as the first went all along, with Ajax on the attack.... And there's the second goal!!
  • 45'
Twente with one last push at goal in the half though. Shot taken outside oft eh right foot an lofted at the upper 90 from outside the box. Nearly worked, but rifted just wide.
  • 43'
It's been a goo half for Ajax. Needing a win the club came out and put on a great show to this point. Plenty of attractive attacking play, probably should have had more than one goal to show for it.
  • 37'
The pure pace for Ajax is causing all sorts of problems for Twente.
  • 36'
Better from Twente now. Another corner earned.
  • 35'
Twente nearly scores against the run of play. A nice move down the left by the fullback and a great ball across the mouth of goal, but Ruiz is a step late.
  • 33'
More pressure from Ajax leads to another shot. It's shocking how dominant the Amsterdam club has been this match.
  • 30'
Half an hour gone and it's all Ajax to this point. Twente just had its longest spell of possession of the half and it only last a minute or so.
  • 29'
Twente with a corner, finally a moment to breath, nothing comes of it.
  • 24'
It's been coming in truth. Ajax has been y far the better team and Twente's defense has been on the back foot all along. Twente better get some kind of grip on the game if it wants to find a title here today.
  • 23'
    Assist Gregory van der Wiel
  • 23'
    Goal Siem de Jong
  • 23'
What a goal to open the scoring for Ajax!!! Great ball in from the right is met on the volley and put back across goal an in for the opener.
  • 18'
Ajax still in control. Lot of the ball this first half for the home side, but Twente has looked somewhat dangerous on the break. Great chance for Ajax right there. Great interchange at the top of the box and the left-footed shot goes just over top after the return ball made the striker reach.
  • 15'
As expected this is being played like a final. Ajax has had the better of it in the opening 15 minutes. If things end level, Twente are champs, but a win would see Ajax claim the title.
  • 10'
Ajax with a good attacking spell but couldn't come out with anything at goal. Twente's defense holding strong to weather the storm.
  • 8'
This is going to be a tough one for the man in the middle to call. Plenty of contact early on, but he's letting them play through most of it.
  • 5'
Dangerous touch there from Twente at the back nearly opened the door for Ajax. Ball chested down, but the keeper got there just in time.
  • 4'
Good start tot he match. Both teams out to attack early.
  • 1'
And the first chance falls to Ruiz as he takes off his chest and fires at goal from a tight angle. He'll be one of the stars of the Gold Cup this summer. Mark my words.
  • 1'
Match is underway. Ajax with the famed red stripe down the middle, Twente in the blue.
  • No Oguchi Onyewu, but for fans of CONCACAF, Brian Ruiz is in Twente's starting XI and he's always worth a watch.
  • Almost set between Ajax and Twente. Allen Ramsey here to take you through this one. Just a week since the last meeting between these sides in the cup final with Twente winning it late, should be another good game with the league on the line.
