    Simon Mignolet

Could do nothing about any of Swansea's goals and made crucial saves on Bony and de Guzman either side of halftime.

    Glen Johnson

Seemed nervous on his return to action in a slightly unfamiliar role at left back. Struggled with the pace of Dyer and poor back pass almost led to de Guzman giving the visitors the lead.

  • Daniel Agger

    Daniel Agger

Won a number of key headers in his return to league action and looked composed on the ball. Replaced by Toure as he began to tire.

    Martin Skrtel

Poor control saw him give away the free kick that led to the second Swansea goal before he hauled down Bony for the penalty. Lacked any composure on the ball but great diagonal switch helped create the winner.

  • Jon Flanagan

    Jon Flanagan

Seemed rushed whenever he found himself in possession in one of his less impressive performances of the season. Taylor and Routledge both beat him for pace during the 90 minutes.

    Steven Gerrard

Unable to shield his defense effectively and put Skrtel under pressure with poor ball in the lead-up to the second goal. Looked more comfortable pushed forward in the second period.

  • Coutinho

    Coutinho

A quiet afternoon for the Brazilian as he struggled to get involved in attacking areas. His touch was also lacking at times, even when he was pushed further forward when Allen came on.

  • Jordan Henderson

    4.00

    Jordan Henderson

Went on a number of driving runs from midfield, though the crucial pass was sometimes lacking from the England man. Scored a cracking curling effort from the edge of the area to put the hosts 2-0 up before following up his own shot to secure the win.

  • Raheem Sterling

    Raheem Sterling

Brilliant tackle and pass with the outside of his foot played in Sturridge for the opener before he tested Vorm himself from long range. Faded as the game wore on and lost the ball in the buildup to the penalty. Replaced soon after.

  • Luis Suárez

    Luis Suárez

At his industrious best yet again, he troubled the Swansea defense throughout. Didn't have his shooting boots on but did find Sturridge with an excellent cross for the third goal.

Daniel Sturridge Top of the Match

Showed great composure to round Vorm and score early before great skill created the second. Also showed nice movement to nod Suarez's cross home for his second.

    Kolo Toure

Still doesn't inspire confidence even when offered time on the ball but cleared up field well under pressure.

    Victor Moses

Had little time to make an impact after replacing Sturridge late.

  • Joe Allen

    Joe Allen

Added good energy to Liverpool's attacks after replacing Sterling in the second half.

  • Michel Vorm

    Michel Vorm

Could do absolutely nothing to stop Liverpool score its first three goals, though could have held Henderson's initial shot for the fourth. Saved well on Sterling and Suarez.

  • Neil Taylor

    2.50

    Neil Taylor

Got forward well on the left but struggled to get to grips with Sturridge. Lack of pace was illustrated as the England striker left him for dead in the lead-up to the second.

  • Chico

    3.00

    Chico

Assured in possession and did well as the man nominated to mark Suarez for most of the match. Aerial presence caused problems from set pieces.

  • Ashley Williams

    2.00

    Ashley Williams

Struggled with the pace and movement of the Liverpool strikers as he lost Sturridge for the third goal and infuriated Suarez with his physical style. Made one excellent block to deny the former.

  • Ángel Rangel

Ángel Rangel Flop of the Match

Lost the ball in a crucial area for the first goal and never really recovered. Sent a free header wide and left Suarez in too much space to cross for the third Liverpool goal.

  • Leon Britton

    2.50

    Leon Britton

Kept the visitors ticking over in midfield but saw some periods of the game pass him by as he struggled to keep up with the pace. Couldn't contain Henderson when he drove forward.

  • Jonjo Shelvey

    Jonjo Shelvey

Pushed Swansea forward from midfield whenever it gained possession and scored with a wonderful first-time shot on his Anfield return. Also won the free kick that led to the second, but was unfortunately replaced at the break with an injury.

  • Nathan Dyer

    Nathan Dyer

Caused Johnson plenty of problems with his pace on the Swansea right as his trickery led to Shelvey's strike. Also provided the cross from which Bony won the penalty.

  • Wayne Routledge

    3.00

    Wayne Routledge

Began quietly but after a nice cross-field run in the buildup to Swansea's first goal he grew in confidence. Got the better of his battle with Flanagan.

  • Jonathan De Guzmán

    3.00

    Jonathan De Guzmán

Whipped in the free kick that created Bony's first and twice went close after the break. Should have done better when Mignolet saved before he was replaced.

  • Wilfried Bony

    Wilfried Bony

A real handful throughout, he deserved his two goals. Got in front of his man to head Swansea level before his presence led to the penalty that he converted.
