The Colombian striker had the easiest of headed finishes after John Thorrington's chip could only be parried by Nick Rimando.

Lionard Pajoy's second half header ensured the RFK Stadium faithful would go home happy, as D.C. United took its home opener 1-0 over Real Salt Lake.
The first half took some time to spring to life, with most of the first 20 minutes passing by without incident. Gradually, the match started to take shape, with Chris Pontius forcing a sharp save out of Nick Rimando in the first half's best chance for either side.
With 30 minutes to play, the home side broke the deadlock. John Thorrington tried a cheeky chipped effort from the top of the box that Rimando sprawled back to save, but the rebound fell to Lionard Pajoy, who was left with a simple header from close range.
The goal seemed to stir RSL into action, as the visitors began to press, but solid defensive efforts from Brandon McDonald and Dejan Jakovic kept them at bay, and the home side crossed the finish line for its first win of 2013.
