Chivas USA 0-3 Columbus Crew: Visitors rack up score late
Federico Higuain's sumptuous striker was the difference between the Columbus Crew and Chivas USA until a late strikes from Josh Williams and Dominic Oduro.

An announced attendance of 7,121 watched an ugly game between Chivas USA and the Columbus Crew in the Home Depot Center which the visitors won 3-0.
Columbus showed its intent early. Within half a minute, Josh Williams snapped an open volley on goal. Only Dan Kennedy's reflexes managed to push the ball around the post.
Andy Gruenebaum made a similarly impressive save midway through the first half, tipping a Julio Morales breakaway shot narrowly wide. A few minutes later, Morales again broke free on goal, but this time a heavy touch took the ball away and he opted to dive over Gruenebaum. The referee decided not to punish Morales with what would have been a second yellow.
Five minutes into the second half Columbus scored. Federico Higuain curled a shot from nearly 30 yards that clipped off the post on its parabolic way in.
In a moment of symmetry, Josh Williams volleyed another shot on frame in the dying seconds -- off an Eddie Gaven corner -- and this one went in.
With the Goats pushing forward in stoppage time, Dominic Oduro led a counter from deep in his own half, rounded Dan Kennedy and put the game to bed.
