Stick with Goal.com as teams around the world look to shake up their rosters in the closing hours of the winter window.

6:10 PM EST

One transfer that hasn't been mentioned much in here, Ajax has confirmed Cuenca on a loandeal from Barcelona. Great move there for the club. He's a massive talent.

6:05 PM EST

Late breaking: Arsenal has signed Monreal. That one has been rumored all day and is finally done, one the Gunners really needed to get finished.

The window has closed. More deals and details will likely filter through as the minutes pass. What we've seen:  Beckham is in Paris but giving his salary to charity. Willian was bought for a ton of money. Balotelli is back in Milan. QPR once again tossed some cash around and brought Chris Samba back to the EPL, signed Andros Townsend on loan and bought Jermaine Jenas, but the Peter Odemwingie saga didn't exatly work out.

For Americans, the only huge news of the day was Brek Shea moving to Stoke, which could work out very well for him but is a move that carries plenty of risk. Other than that there haven't been a lot of shocking moves made today.

5:56 PM EST

People still waiting on Monreal to go through. Seems a very Arsenal way of doing things.

5:52 PM EST

Redknapp says QPR has landed Townsend and Jenas. Peter Odemwingie.... not so much. Still, good day for the Rs at this point. Samba brings a solid defender, Jenas could make the center of the midfield a bit more sturdy and Townsend adds some pace on the wing.

5:47 PM EST

Ajax confirms Eyong Enoh to Fulham on loan. Fulham once again all over the loan deals on deadline day. Just about 10 minutes left for teams to wrap things up.

5:20 PM EST

Everton has completed the signing of defender John Stones from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee. Not exactly blockbuster news for Everton fans, but it's been a win for Everton to not have to sell players off and to bring in a bit of depth.

5:03 PM EST

One hour to go here. During the summer window things picked up as teams both bought and sold players they had been trying to move for a while. Clint Dempsey was among that group at that time. Arsenal is still trying to wrap up the Monreal deal, QPR has been busy with trying to sign players to go along with Chris Samba. Andros Townsend is there trying to work out a loan and could be the next one added, and there are reports that Jermain Jenas is also in house. Have to give QPR credit for not being shy about making moves, and Redknapp might even be able to put together a team that can get well clear of the relegation zone.

4:57 PM EST

Simon Dawkins was the man Villa was talking about with the MLS tweet. Interesting. Not exactly the type of thing that will keep the club out of danger though.

4:53 PM EST

A lot of the news has slowed down at this point, but there could still be a few things on tap. One note, it seems like Tottenham's bid for striker Leandro Damião has come up short. Sounds like the same thing that happend with Moutinho during the summer.

4:49 PM EST

Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu has confirmed that Willian has agreed a move to Anzhi Makhachkala. One of the three biggest signings of the window along with Balotelli and of course David Beckham. On the field this may be the biggest.

3:01 PM EST

According to Sky Sports, Malaga left back Nacho Monreal's transfer to Arsenal is growing ever closer. Stay tuned....

2:59 PM EST

Could Aston Villa be in for a MLS player? The club's official Twitter just said: "The club is looking to do a loan deal with a promising player who has recently done well in MLS."

2:51 PM EST

Fulham is killing the loan signings today. Just brought in another one, this time left back Stanislav Manolev on loan from Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven. Bulgarian player to go with Berba.

2:48 PM EST

It's a Warnock party at Elland Road: Defender Stephen Warnock has joined League Championship outfit Leeds United, where he will play for manager Neil Warnock. He moves to Leeds from Aston Villa on an 18-month deal.

2:30 PM EST

Fiorentina confirmed that it has brought Mohamed Sissoko to the club on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, with an option to make the move permanent.

1:50 PM EST

Julian de Guzman has joined German second division side SSV Jahn Regensburg through the remainder of its current campaign. Kills off the rumors that he would be back with FC Dallas next season.

1:16 PM EST

Here's something for you Gunner fans. Rumors are floating around that Nacho Monreal is in London looking to sign with Arsenal. For those that don't know, he's a left back from Malaga. Really good player, would cure some of the problems for Arsenal's defense.

1:07 PM EST

Biggest news of the day for Americans: Brek Shea's deal with Stoke City is done. He's gotten the work permit approved according to his agent.

12:38 PM EST

Reports from Sky Sports state that Stoke manager Tony Pulis has gone to Wembley Stadium to present Brek Shea's case for a UK work permit. Each work permit case is individual, but if Americans like Tim Ream, Robbie Rogers and Alejandro Bedoya were granted permits, then Shea, who has been a bigger part of the national team than all of them, should not have a problem. If that hurdle gets cleared by the transfer deadline, Shea will become MLS' latest export.

12:09 PM EST

Danny Williams and Fabian Johnson will have a new goalkeeper to play in front of. Heurelho Gomes has joined Hoffenheim on loan for the rest of the season from Tottenham, where he wasn't seeing any time behind Hugo Lloris and Brad Friedel.
