Guillermo Franco's move to Velez Sarsfield is official.

Velez Sarsfield made it official Monday and announced the signing of Mexico World Cup veteran Guillermo Franco.
The 34-year-old had been without a club since parting ways with West Ham United prior to the 2010 World Cup, where Franco was a regular.
Franco underwent a physical and will be able to participate with the club, according to reports.
Franco was born in Argentina but became a Mexican citizen in 2005 after having spent several years starring for Monterrey.
