Rafael Marquez will train with his first-ever club, Atlas of Guadalajara, before joining the New York Red Bulls.

As Major League Soccer clubs open their respective preseason camps, Rafael Marquez is among the MLS players who reported for camp.
However, Marquez is in Guadalajara and not with the Red Bulls.
Marquez has joined Atlas for training and will be with the club for one week. According to Mexican daily Record, Marquez met with Atlas onwer Rafael Lebrija briefly before heading to the locker room to prepare for training.
Marquez began his career with Atlas more than a decade ago before leaving for Europe, first for Monaco and then Barcelona. He joined MLS side New York in the summer and played the last half of the 2010 season with the Red Bulls.
Marquez will join the Red Bulls when the MLS club heads to Mexico for part of their preseason camp.
