Wilfried Zaha expressed his happiness after making a return to Ivory Coast for the first time in 20 years.

The Crystal Palace talisman is set to make his first appearance in his country of birth for the first time since he switched allegiance to the 2015 African Cup of Nations champions.

Zaha joins 24 other players in Marc Wilmots’ 25-man list for the crunch 2018 World Cup qualifying tie against Morocco Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan on November 11.

With the Elepahants just in need of a win against the Atlas Lions to seal their ticket to the 2018 World Cup, the 24-year-old looks forward to meeting his teammates in the west African nation.

“I am very excited to be back in Côte d'Ivoire for the first time since I was 4 years old. I can not wait to join my teammates!,” Zaha wrote on Instagram.
