Global scout report: Premier League transfer targets
Hakan Calhanoglu faced a tough test on Saturday as his Hamburg side took on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
Perhaps unsurprisingly the 19-year-old was forced to spend most of the game helping out his defence as Pep Guardiola's side dominated the match.
Although not his usual role, Calhanoglu worked hard, but was partly to blame for Bayern's opener, the Turkey international appealing to the assistant referee for an offside decision and allowing Rafinha to find Mario Mandzukic, who opened the scoring at the Allianz Area.
Calhanoglu did have a chance on goal in the second half, firing over a free kick from a decent position before being substituted.
