Zaha salutes fans after Crystal Palace Player of the Month win

Wilfried Zaha has appreciated fans after winning Crystal Palace's Player of the Month prize for April.

The 25-year-old scored four goals and made one assist to help Roy Hodgson’s men to the 11th spot in the league log.

The former Manchester United player saw off competitions from Wayne Hennessey, Luka Milivojevic, James McArthur, Patrick van Aanholt and James Tomkins to win the prize for the fourth this season.

And the forward has taken to the social media to applaud supporters who voted for him while also reassuring of his readiness to help the Eagles finish ‘high’ at the end of the season.

“Thanks to the fans for voting me POTM. Only two games left let’s end the season on a high,” Zaha tweeted.

Overall, the forward has scored eight goals in 27 league games this season and will be looking to add to the tally when Palace clash with Stoke City on Saturday.
