Soudani opens goal account as Nottingham Forest breeze past Malaga

El Arabi Soudani scored his first goal for Nottingham Forest in their 3-0 victory over Spanish side Malaga on Monday.

The 30-year-old joined the English Championship club from Dinamo Zagreb on June 29 on the back of an impressive 2017-18 season where he registered 17 goals in 28 league appearances for the Croatian champions.

The attacker showed a glimpse of what he is set to offer the club in the upcoming season with his 65th-minute effort against Juan Muniz’s men which sealed the victory for the Reds.

Gil Dias had earlier opened the scoring in the 34th minute while Ben Osborn added the second 18 minutes after the break.

Soudani will be hoping to continue the impressive form when Nottingham take on Oldham Athletic in their next preparatory game on July 21.
