Samuel Eto’o set for Serie A return after Lazio talks

The African legend might return to the Italian top-fight this summer after spending three seasons in the Turkish Super Lig

Samuel Eto’o has hinted at a potential return to the Serie A after meeting with Lazio representatives in Rome.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the 37-year-old had a four-hour meeting with club director Igli Tare, following the departure of Luis Nani.

Eto’o left Antalyaspor for Konyaspor in January where he scored six goals in 13 league appearances this season.

The former Barcelona star is set for a third spell in Italy where he enjoyed a treble with Inter Milan in 2010 before a brief stint with Sampdoria in 2015.
