The 25-year-old’s outstanding displays in the month in review has been rewarded

Wilfried Zaha has been named Crystal Palace Player of the Month for April, making it his fourth time this season.

Zaha scored four goals with an assist as Roy Hodgson’s side maintain an unbeaten run of four games in the English top-flight last month.

The 25-year-old played a massive role as the Eagles edged closer to maintaining their Premier League status - after an uninspiring start to the season - with a goal against Bournemouth, followed by a brace against Brighton and Hove Albion before capping it off with a goal and assist against Leicester City.

The Cote d’Ivoire international beat Wayne Hennessey, Luka Milivojevic, James McArthur, Patrick van Aanholt and James Tomkins to clinch the accolade for the fourth time this campaign after garnering 43 percent of the votes. He previously won the award in October, November and December.

Zaha, scorer of eight goals in 27 league matches this campaign, will be aiming to maintain his decent form and extend his tally when Crystal Palace visit Stoke City on Saturday.
