OFFICIAL: Burnley sign Brady from Norwich for club-record fee

The Republic of Ireland international has long been linked with a move to the Clarets, with the club confirming the switch on deadline day

Burnley have announced the signing of Norwich City's Robbie Brady on a three-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed club record fee.

The 25-year-old winger, who is adept at either left-back or on the left side of midfield, also has the option of a further year at Turf Moor having ended his 18-month stay at Carrow Road.

Brady started 34 Premier League games for Norwich during their relegation campaign in 2015/16 and has been a regular in Alex Neil's side this season in the Championship, scoring four and assisting four in 23 appearances.

Burnley also announced the signing of midfielder Ashley Westwood from Aston Villa on Tuesday, with the 26-year-old arriving for an undisclosed fee. 

Like Brady, Westwood agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Turf Moor with the option of a further year.
