Chelsea are still short in a couple of areas ahead of their Premier League title defence and should consider dipping back into the transfer market, says Frank Lampard.
The Blues have already spent over £100 million this summer bolstering their ranks, with the likes of Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger brought on board.

They have, however, seen plenty of outgoings as well, with Nemanja Matic among the more high-profile following his switch to Manchester United.
Lampard believes more bodies are needed if Antonio Conte is to juggle the demands of domestic and European competition, with Chelsea still light in the middle of the park and on the flanks.

Chelsea don't look like title contenders
The Blues legend told BT Sport following a Community Shield defeat to Arsenal: "I think they need another midfield player. They are waiting on Tiemoue Bakayoko to be fit.
"It's a lot to ask Cesc Fabregas against big teams in a difficult game to patrol as one of the two, and get on the ball to affect games. That's a lot to ask.

"Maybe that would relieve Cesc to go further forward and they need cover on the wing-back roles.
"The wing-backs, if that's what they've got, they're going to play so many games this year and they need more."
Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses impressed for Chelsea last season as they swept to title glory, but the Blues had no continental football to contend with.
Conte defends Courtois penalty miss
They are back in Champions League action this term and will require greater depth to their ranks in order to rotate and rest as required.
There is still plenty of time in which to get further deals done, with the summer transfer window not due to slam shut until August 31.
Conte will, however, see his side open their 2017-18 Premier League campaign at home to Burnley on Saturday.
