thumbnail Hello,

Jack Wilshere and Rickie Lambert are among those who drop out of Roy Hodgson's previous starting line-up as the Three Lions do battle in a crucial World Cup qualifier

Tottenham winger Andros Townsend makes his England debut from the start in the Three Lions' crucial World Cup qualifier against Montenegro.

Manager Roy Hodgson has dropped Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere to the bench, while Rickie Lambert also makes way in order to accommodate in-form Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.

Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard partner up once again as the deep central midfielders, with Wayne Rooney linking midfield and attack in support of Sturridge and Manchester United team-mate Danny Welbeck.

Also missing from the team who started against Ukraine in September are James Milner and the injured Ashley Cole and Theo Walcott.

England starting XI: Hart; Walker, Jagielka, Cahill, Baines; Gerrard, Lampard; Townsend, Rooney, Welbeck; Sturridge
Subs: Smalling, Ruddy, Gibbs, Jones, Carrick, Milner, Barkley, Wilshere, Defoe, Lambert, Forster
