The status of the match between Harimau Malaya and the team ranked 122th in the world, Grenada, will be announced as soon as possible.
The match will either be played at the Shah Alam Stadium or the National Stadium Bukit Jalil.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Secretary-general, Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin, said that his side is still waiting for the reply from Grenada’s Football Association who have yet to give their answer.
According to Utusan, Hamidin said: "Until now, we are still waiting for a reply from Grenada, who are still quiet with this issue so I cannot confirm that the match would go on as scheduled or not."
Hamidin however reassured that the FAM has a 'plan B' for the national team, in case the match against Grenada is cancelled.
"If the meeting with Grenada is cancelled, the FAM already have an alternative plan to replace the team, but I would not reveal anything to avoid any speculations," he added.
Rajagopal’s men, however, will play against rank 95th in the world, China in Shanghai, as well as UAE as part of their preparation to face Bahrain in the 2015 Asian Cup qualifier scheduled for October 15.
