Extra Time: Hull to auction off Huddlestone's hair

The midfielder vowed not to visit the barbers until he next scored, a drought running back to 2011, with a member of the Tigers' backroom staff cutting a strand on the touchline
Hull City are to auction off some of Tom Huddlestone's hair after the midfielder struck his first goal since deciding to grow his barnet for charity.

Huddlestone set up a charity page designed to raise funds for Cancer Research and chose not to have a haircut until he had hit the back of the net, dating back to October 2011 during his time at Tottenham.

He thought he was finally due a trip to the barbers at the beginning of December when his shot deflected home in the 3-1 win over Liverpool, but the goal was later adjudged to be a Martin Skrtel own goal.

But Huddlestone celebrated his 27th birthday by scoring the fourth in his side's 6-0 rout of Fulham, with a member of Hull's backroom staff taking a snip at the touchline in a memorable goal celebration.
