Say goodbye to your social life!

Gamers and football fans will finally have a chance to put their football gaming skills to the test after it was announced that the first English version of FIFA Online 3 is set to launch in Singapore and Malaysia on October 10.

Following its success in Thailand and Vietnam earlier this year, Garena, Southeast Asia’s leading online game publisher, together with Electronic Arts Inc, will be bringing the multiplayer extension to the critically acclaimed FIFA series to Singapore and Malaysia for the very first time.

This exciting news was announced at the exclusive EA SPORTS FIFA Online 3 Preview event at the Garena Stadium at Bugis+ on Friday afternoon.

Players can already begin redeeming their Closed-Beta Access Keys from the FIFA Online 3 website (, while the closed-beta testing phase will begin on the October 10. Players who join the game earlier can expect more in-game rewards.

Currently Korea’s most popular sports game, FIFA Online 3 features a combination of strategy, team customisation and football authenticity.

The strategic game play allows players to infuse real life football tactics into the game, while the team customisation would mean playing with a starting eleven of your favourite football stars. The authenticity of the football experience comes from the fact that the game possesses teams and players from officially licensed leagues, including close to 15,000 real-world players from 32 leagues and 45 national teams.

Players will experience improved game play and strategies, enhanced graphics, the latest rosters and extensive use of official licenses.

The new features added in the game include enhanced game play controls and an amazing new multiplayer feature that allow players to play up to 5 vs 5 to boost coordination capabilities among each other.

The game also features a deep and involving League mode, where players are challenged to build and grow their ultimate team.

On top of all that, the game is free to play, although gamers can enhance their game experience by purchasing in-game items such as player cards of their favourite real-life players.
