Singapore Pools FA Cup draw released

A total of 33 teams were sorted out over four different rounds of placings, with the competition due to kick off at the end of June and the final scheduled in November
The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) announced on Monday evening the results of the draw for the 2014 Singapore Pools FA Cup.

A total of 33 were sorted out over four rounds of draws, with teams in the Prime League getting byes to more advanced rounds. National Football League (NFL) Division Two sides Bishan Barx FC and Siglap CSC were included in the draw, despite being under investigation for a brawl earlier this month. A FAS statement indicated that the participation of the two teams will be "subject to the decision and ruling of the Competitions Committee" following a review.

The FA Cup is Singapore football's third major cup competition after the Singapore Cup and League Cup, with Prime League sides introduced to do battle with the NFL teams in 2006 in an effort to make the tournament more competitive. Home United's Prime League side are the current holders.

The first round will kick off on June 28 and 29, with the final scheduled for November 7. The full draw is as below.
