With only one recognised goalkeeper left in his squad, Indonesian coach Nil Maizar is hoping to call up another as cover.

First choice custodian Endra was sent off against Laos, and will now miss the rest of the group stage matches against Malaysia and Singapore. Wahyu Tri was brought on in his place against Laos, where the 2010 runners-up drew 2-2.

"This is a problem for the national team," said Nil.

"We only brought two goalkeepers and now we don't have a reserve keeper."

"I have asked to process it (an appeal for Endra's red card). We have sent a request for an extra goalkeeper, but we are still waiting on an answer from the AFF."

Nil Maizar, however, will likely find his request for a new call up rejected. According to AFF rules, 'a player listed on the final list of twenty-two maybe replaced only in the event of serious injury up until one day before the kick-off of his team’s first match'.

Indonesia next take on Group B leaders Singapore on November 28 at Bukit Jalil Stadium.
