'They have an animal aspect' - Wenger heaps praise on Cavani and Falcao

The 63-year-old Arsenal boss has lauded the qualities of the two South American forwards as their respective clubs, PSG and Monaco, prepare to do battle on Sunday
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hailed both Monaco striker Radamel Falcao and Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani and says he cannot saperate the two.

Both forwards moved to Ligue 1 this summer, with the Colombian notching four times in his first five league appearances while Cavani has struck twice for les Parisiens.

The two players will face off against each other in Sunday's clash at the Parc des Princes, and Wenger believes that, while they have markedly different styles, the south American frontmen are quality players.

"I believe it's very difficult to make a difference because for me they are very similar. They have an animal aspect inside of them. Both of them are animals," Wenger told Bein Sport.

"I think Cavani is a bit more mobile, and makes more runs off the ball, and Falcao is a bit more of a box player, a bit more of a killer than Cavani.

"But both of them, I love. And honestly, not to protect one or the other, but it's very difficult to make a difference between the two."
