Lille starlet Eden Hazard has confessed that he is "flattered" by Sir Alex Ferguson's interest in him and that he would welcome an offer from Manchester United for his services.
The Belgium international is considered one of the most exciting young attacking players in game today and both he and his current employers have confirmed that he will be departing for pastures new at the end of the season.
Ferguson revealed his admiration for Hazard earlier this week and the versatile attacking midfielder freely admits that he would be open to a move to Old Trafford.
"I'm flattered," the 21-year-old told Sky Sports. "I am proud to have received compliments from a manager like him. I did not know he had come to see me; nobody knew.
"Manchester United are obviously a strong team of a very high calibre, so it is normal that I want to hear what they have to offer me."
Hazard, who has been capped 26 times by his country, has also been linked heavily with Manchester City, Chelsea and Inter and is expected to fetch a fee of over €35 million.
