Heynckes: Bayern Munich not thinking about Borussia Dortmund

The Bundesliga leaders lock horns with the reigning champions on Saturday, but their coach has urged them concentrate on their latest domestic against Freiburg test first
Jupp Heynckes has insisted that Bayern Munich are focused on Wednesday's match against Freiburg and are not thinking about this weekend's clash with rivals Borussia Dortmund.

The Bavarians will be looking to extend their lead over the reigning champions when both sides meet at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, but Heynckes has made it clear that they must firstly deal with their latest domestic test.

"I'm solely focused on Freiburg. We’re in good form and want to stay in the flow," Heynckes stated at a press conference.

"It's not Dortmund we take on next. It's Freiburg! They're a great unit and play courageous attacking football. So it'll be a tough match."

The Bayern coach then went on to praise the man who will be sat in the opposite dugout - Christian Streich - singling the 47-year-old out as Wednesday's opponents' most dangerous man.

"Their best man sits in the dugout. Streich's modest, an expert, and he has his team playing modern football."

Streich replaced Marcus Sorg as head coach at Freiburg in December 2011.
