The Bundesliga giants have confirmed that the German telecommunications company will continue to assist the club off the field for the next five yearsBayern Munich have announced that they have renewed their partnership with main sponsor Deutsche Telekom for an additional four years until the summer of 2017.
The previous deal between both parties was due to expire in 2013, but the Bavarian giants and the telecommunications firm have opted to extend their successful 10-year collaboration.
"We are delighted our long partnership with Deutsche Telekom will continue. Telekom is a very important, reliable and innovative partner, supporting us with its telecommunications expertise," Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge commented on the deal.
"Thanks to the help provided by Telekom, Bayern are based on sound and solid financial foundations."
Telekom will acquire additional advertising rights and services, which include social media and the new FCB News product under the terms of the new deal.
