The defender, recently signed from non-league outfit Chippenham, gave a supporter a couple of tickets after he complained that he could not make the game as he was 'skint'Being forced to watch the big game at home is a feeling we can all relate to. Spending the afternoon scraping together our pennies and loose change in order to splash out on a ticket only to still come up short is one heck of a frustrating experience.
If only there was an easier way?
Well one skint Ipswich fan was on the receiving end of some footballing philanthropy on Saturday, when defender Tyrone Mings provided the supporter with two tickets to the Championship outfit's clash with Bolton.
The supporter had wished the defender, recently signed from non-league side Chippenham, good luck ahead of their clash with Bolton, but bemoaned his he could not attend the game as he was 'skint'.
Showing a clear sign of humility all too lacking in modern football, Mings kindly provided the fan with complimentary tickets for the clash, with the fan watching the Tractor Boys go on to win the key clash 1-0.
